Our Story
About YPI
The Youth and Police Initiative (YPI) is a community-based, non-political, and non-sectarian charitable organization rooted in Kajiado North Constituency, Kajiado County.
We are dedicated to empowering young people to become catalysts for positive change. Through mentorship programs, community dialogues, and collaborative projects with law enforcement, we equip youth with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to address pressing social issues such as substance abuse, crime, and unemployment.
By strengthening relationships between young people and police officers, YPI builds trust and understanding that translate into safer neighborhoods, stronger communities, and lasting social cohesion. Our work continues to inspire confidence, promote responsibility, and nurture the next generation of community leaders.
Our Mission
